Modern.az reports that Bill Gates' call came a few weeks after the heads of the country's largest artificial intelligence laboratories agreed that it was necessary to slow down the pace of progress in this area.
“Executive bodies and politicians should join discussions on how safety measures and monitoring should be implemented. This should be a mandatory condition.
Artificial intelligence is certainly a powerful enough tool to lead to events that could cause the death of a billion people. There has never been a weapon as powerful as the combination created by malicious people using the latest artificial intelligence tools,” Bill Gates said.
