Belarus and Russia pose no threat to anyone, but we are ready to protect "our common homeland from Brest to Vladivostok."

Modern.az reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said this during joint nuclear forces exercises with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Indeed, this is the first such joint exercise. But it turns out that our general staffs and defense ministers conduct these exercises once a quarter. Just without us - without the presidents. We had already discussed the prospect of presidents participating in the winter," Lukashenko addressed Putin.

The Belarusian president emphasized that Minsk and Moscow are not threatening anyone:

"I fully support you, we absolutely do not pose a threat to anyone. But we have such weapons and we are ready to protect our common homeland from Brest to Vladivostok by all means. If we have such an opportunity, we must be able to use it."
