US President Donald Trump has invested between $1-5 million in shares of Japan's "Kura Sushi USA" restaurant chain.

Modern.az reports that "Bloomberg" released this information, citing financial reports.

It is stated that the deal was made in February. After the information became public, the company's shares rose by approximately 5%.

The investment caused a wide resonance in Japan. Social media users claimed that Trump made this investment by mistake.

According to the widespread version, Trump or his team mistook "Kura Sushi" for Japan's "Fujikura" corporation, which produces optical fibers and equipment, and is rapidly growing by benefiting from the artificial intelligence boom.

It is noted that Trump had previously invested in technology companies such as "Nvidia", "Apple", and "Amazon".

"Trump Organization" stated in its announcement that the president's assets are managed by third-party structures, and neither Donald Trump nor his family members participate in investment decisions.
