Modern.az reports that Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, national coordinator for WUF13, said this at the official closing ceremony of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
The committee chairman noted that WUF13 has become an example of strong cooperation between the Azerbaijani government and UN-Habitat:
“Thanks to this partnership, the World Urban Forum has become a platform reflecting inclusivity, dialogue and a common commitment to a sustainable urban future.”
He expressed his special thanks to the UN-Habitat team, WUF13 Azerbaijan operating company and the employees of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture who participated in the organization of the forum.
“Thanks to your dedicated work and high professionalism, a forum of this scale, diversity and importance was successfully organized,” Anar Guliyev emphasized.
