The “OnDeck” platform has announced the results of its research on the 150 most entrepreneurial countries in the world.
Modern.az reports that the global map, prepared based on "LinkedIn" data, determined the number of business founders per 10,000 users in various countries.
According to the research, Estonia ranked first in the world for entrepreneurship level. In this country, there are 218.6 business founders per 10,000 "LinkedIn" users.
Israel is in second place on the list with an indicator of 167.5. Georgia ranked 4th with an indicator of 133.3, and Finland ranked 5th with an indicator of 130.8.
Azerbaijan was also included in the research. According to the information, Azerbaijan has 60 business people per 10,000 "LinkedIn" users. With this indicator, Azerbaijan ranked 54th in the global ranking.
Among the countries in the region, this indicator was 59 in Turkey, 44.2 in Iran, 34.1 in Kyrgyzstan, 36 in Uzbekistan, and 23.2 in Kazakhstan. Turkmenistan was not shown separately on the map. As can be seen, Azerbaijan surpassed a number of CIS and regional countries on the list.
It should be noted that when preparing the report, "LinkedIn" profiles for 150 countries were analyzed. Then, countries were ranked based on searches conducted with the job title “founder”.
