It is reported that an armed incident occurred in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and 6 people were injured. 

Modern.az reports, citing "Shamshyan.com", an Armenian crime website, that gunshots were heard in Yerevan's Ajapnyak administrative district. The publication claims that the number of injured could reach 9 people.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informed "Sputnik Armenia" that operational-search measures are currently being carried out. It was noted that additional information regarding the details of the incident would be disclosed later.
