Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that both Iran and the US have agreed in principle to extend the ceasefire.
The goal is to create an additional opportunity for the diplomatic process. The parties are trying to reach a compromise on three main issues. These are Iran's nuclear program, the situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and war reparations.
