Modern.az reports, citing Turkish media, that 20 people were injured during the attack on Ayser Çalık Middle School.
It was noted that the incident was committed by an 8th-grade student of the school.

Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer confirmed that there were fatalities. According to preliminary information, 6 people were injured.
It should be recalled that previously, a shooting occurred yesterday at a high school in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa. The assailant, who entered the school with a hunting rifle, injured 16 people before committing suicide.
