9 people died as a result of a 14-year-old teenager's armed attack on a secondary school in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey.
Modern.az reports with reference to the Turkish media that U.M., the father of the attacker, who was a first-degree police chief, and the owner of the weapons used in the incident, was immediately detained.
As the investigation continued, the teenager's mother, P.P.M., who works as a Turkish language and literature teacher at Anadolu High School, was also taken into custody.
It should be recalled that 14-year-old I.A.M. entered the secondary school with 5 pistols and 7 loaded magazines belonging to his father, killed 8 students and a teacher, and then committed suicide.
It should be noted that Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer also confirmed in his statement about the details of the incident that the teenager used service weapons belonging to his father.
