US Vice President JD Vance criticized Pope Leo XIV.

Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Vance called on the Pope to be more careful in his statements on "theological issues". He noted that the main job of the Vatican leader is to "preach the Gospel".

The vice president also added that he is dissatisfied with the "ruthless" criticism of Trump by Catholic clerics regarding his immigration policy.
