At least 399 American soldiers have been wounded during the war with Iran.
Modern.az reports that Tim Hawkins, spokesman for the US Central Command (CENTCOM), provided this information.
Hawkins stated that 354 soldiers have already returned to duty. The official death toll among American soldiers is 13.
It should be recalled that on February 28, the US and Israel started a war against Iran. The authorities of the Islamic Republic decided to close the Strait of Hormuz for ships belonging to the US, Israel, and countries supporting aggression against Iran. On the night of April 8, Washington declared a two-week ceasefire with Tehran. According to the Iranian Emergency Medical Services Organization, 3375 Iranians died in 40 days of the war. On April 11, the two sides held talks in Islamabad, but due to a number of disagreements, they could not reach an agreement on a long-term solution to the conflict. A new meeting between US and Iranian representatives may be held in the near future.
