The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is located today on the border of three states. And the events occurring in those states inevitably do not pass without affecting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Siyavush Novruzov, Chairman of the Regional Affairs Committee, at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
From this perspective, today we must exchange views here regarding Nakhchivan's status, defense, and the steps to be taken in future events.
The committee chairman stated that one of the main issues is the railway line passing from Nakhchivan to other countries, and from this perspective, additional support for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for the implementation of an important project, the renovation of these roads, and the establishment of a direct connection between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the provision of future routes to Armenia, must also be regulated.
