Rivers in the Vayots Dzor province, located in southeastern Armenia, may overflow their banks.
Modern.az reports with reference to the Armenian Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center that the probability of a flood in Arpachay is highly estimated.
Due to heavy rain and melting snow, the water level in most rivers in Armenia is expected to increase significantly on April 20-21.
It should be noted that Arpachay, a tributary of the Araz river, originates in Nakhchivan.
