The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has appealed regarding pedestrian-hitting incidents.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Department, preventive measures and awareness-raising efforts to prevent pedestrian-hitting incidents are continuing: "The sense of personal responsibility of pedestrians, who are the most vulnerable party among road users, is of vital importance. Especially on multi-lane roads and roads with high-speed limits, crossing the road without observing the rules and without using pedestrian crossings creates a serious danger. Serious road accidents that occur in such cases are not accidental, but result from rule violations.
Dear pedestrians, we appeal to you once again not to risk your lives, to cross the road only at designated crossings, and to behave carefully and responsibly. Because safety on the road starts with everyone themselves."
