Mohammed Baker Saad Daoud al-Saadi, an Iraqi citizen who planned an assassination attempt against Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the US president, has been arrested in Turkey.
Modern.az reports that this information is stated in the information released by the "New York Post" newspaper.
According to the publication's sources, 32-year-old al-Saadi has ties to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Shiite group "Kataib Hezbollah". The arrested person is reportedly intending to avenge the killing of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani by the US in 2020.
Sources claim that al-Saadi had a plan of Ivanka Trump's house in Florida. He also shared a map of the district where the Trump family lives on the "X" social network, along with threatening messages in Arabic. The suspect wrote these words in one of his posts: "Currently we are in the monitoring and analysis phase. I told you, our revenge is just a matter of time."
