Ukraine and Russia continued mutual strikes overnight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Moscow was using North Korean-made missiles in attacks on Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, ballistic missiles from Russia's ally North Korea were used in strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia, which killed at least 6 people and injured 19.

Modern.az reports with reference to the BBC that warehouses belonging to the online retail company “Wildberries” in Voronezh, a city in southern Russia, were subjected to Ukrainian attacks. The company's facilities, which are compared to “Amazon” in Russia, have been targeted repeatedly in recent weeks.

The attacks occurred a day after. Previously, at least 13 people, including a child, died as a result of drone attacks carried out by Ukraine on Russia's Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan is located more than 1,100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

In a video address broadcast on Monday evening, Zelensky said that Russia “cannot wage war without the support of North Korea.”

The Ukrainian President noted that as the use of North Korean-made missiles and military personnel in Ukraine increases, Pyongyang gets the opportunity to identify the shortcomings and weaknesses of its weapons and improve them. Zelensky emphasized that this poses a threat not only to Ukraine but to the entire world.

Zelensky also called the Ukrainian army's air attack on Russia's petrochemical plant in Western Siberia on Monday a “very important achievement.”

The Ukrainian President said that Ukraine's attacks deep into Russia would continue in order to show Russia and the Russian people that peace is necessary.

“More long-range strikes by Ukraine must be carried out. These strikes must demonstrate to Russia and the Russian people that peace is necessary,” Zelensky said.
