The Azerbaijan Judo Federation has taken action regarding Hidayat Heydarov in accordance with internal disciplinary rules.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the federation's statement.
It was noted that Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) was not admitted to the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, due to being unable to make weight.
"The Azerbaijan Judo Federation has taken action in accordance with internal disciplinary rules", - it was emphasized in the statement.
It should be noted that H. Heydarov won a gold medal at the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games.
