Saudi Arabia has demanded that the US stop the blockade around the Strait of Hormuz and resume negotiations with Iran.

According to the information, Saudi Arabia warned the US that if the current situation continues, Iran could close the Bab al-Mandab Strait. This strait is crucial for the kingdom's remaining oil exports.
It is noted that the area near the Bab al-Mandab Strait is controlled by the Houthis operating in Yemen. According to Arab sources, Iran is influencing this group to pressure the closure of that sea corridor.
