The US decision on a possible blockade against Iranian ports could seriously affect global trade.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Observatory of Economic Complexity (OEC), this step will primarily negatively affect countries that import large volumes of products from Iran. This refers to China, Turkey, India, and Pakistan, which import billions of dollars worth of products.
According to the organization, Iran's main export products in the past period included polyethylene, iron ore, acyclic alcohol derivatives, and oil and gas.
At the same time, it was noted that Azerbaijan and Armenia were among the major importers of Iranian products.
