Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's statements regarding Israel have caused a great stir in that country.

Modern.az reports that, according to Al-Jazeera, Fidan's statements have been widely disseminated on Israeli digital accounts.

Hakan Fidan stated that Israel is trying to declare Turkey as a new enemy after Iran.

Al-Jazeera writes that this statement caused a serious reaction in Israel.

Some Israeli social media users believe that Fidan correctly analyzes Israel's internal political situation. It is noted that Hakan Fidan makes a clear distinction between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli right-wing political network and left-wing parties. Hakan Fidan's words show that, contrary to what many people in Israel think, according to the Turkish side, the problem is not the state, but Netanyahu and his right-wing coalition, including Ben-Gvir.

In another comment, an Israeli user stated that Fidan was “absolutely right” and said that “the problem is not the state of Israel, but Netanyahu.” He added that “the issue of the need for an enemy is related to Netanyahu's political existence.”

It should be recalled that in an interview with Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Foreign Minister accused Israel of playing a “hindering” role in the US-Iran talks and said that “there is always an Israeli factor to be taken into account.”

Fidan stated that Israel “cannot live without an enemy after Iran” and noted that Tel Aviv is trying to form a new political discourse that portrays Turkey as “the next enemy.” He added that this approach is not limited to the Netanyahu government, but is also seen by some individuals in the Israeli opposition.

Hakan Fidan also stated that the Israeli leadership has a “psychological complex” against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. According to him, Turkey's regional balance policy limits Israel's room for maneuver.
