Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on April 13.
Modern.az reports with reference to Russian media that the situation in the Middle East was discussed during the meeting.
The ministers reviewed ways out of the crisis caused by the attacks of the US and Israel against Iran and confirmed that Moscow and Ankara are ready to contribute to the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Fidan also raised issues related to Ukraine and the prospects of resuming trilateral talks with the participation of the US, proposing Istanbul as a platform for discussions.
Lavrov, in turn, informed about Kyiv's actions at the current stage.
