The extent of Iran's economic losses as a result of the US naval blockade has been announced.
Modern.az reports that according to Miad Malkin, a senior research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), Iran is suffering economic damage of approximately $435 million per day and $13 billion per month due to the blockade.
It was stated that $276 million of these daily losses are related to the decrease in exports, and $159 million to import restrictions.
The expert noted that the imposed restrictions continue to seriously affect the Iranian economy.
