Azerbaijan among the most preferred destinations for Russian tourists - DEMAND INCREASED

The number of bookings for hotels in Azerbaijan for the autumn months of 2026 has increased by 18% compared to the same period last year.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the report of "OneTwoTrip" (an online travel and tourism platform used in Russia - ed.).

Azerbaijan has entered the top five foreign destinations with the highest increase in demand among Russian tourists. This indicator is higher only in Greece (+109%), Cyprus (+100%), Serbia (+75%) and Turkey (+60%).

According to the service, tourists are increasingly preferring destinations with more affordable accommodation and simpler visa requirements.
