Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the Russian State Duma, said that official Moscow's attitude towards the residents of Armenia is friendly, but Russia cannot remain silent about the processes taking place in Armenia.

Modern.az reports that Volodin wrote on the "Max" channel that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already made all political decisions - he prefers to build relations with countries that are not friendly to Russia and try to weaken Russia.

According to Volodin, Pashinyan's desire to remain in the Eurasian Economic Union is an attempt to continue using the Eurasian space for financial purposes, and this has already led to a 2.5-fold increase in Armenia's GDP. He noted that Russia sells gas to Armenia almost 4 times cheaper (the price for Armenia is 177.5 dollars/1000 cubic meters, while in Europe it is 633 dollars/1000 cubic meters).

He then stated: "What do we get in return - Pashinyan's betrayal and unethical behavior."
