British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has stated that his country has been moving in the wrong direction for a long time.
Modern.az reports that in his speech at the Labour Party conference, he criticized deindustrialization, reduced state regulation, privatization, strict austerity policies, and the consequences of “Brexit”.
“The country is governed in the interests of narrow groups, not society. Power is concentrated in the hands of very few people, and many regions have been left to their own devices,” the Prime Minister said.
Burnham emphasized his intention to abandon the political course of the last 40 years and build a new economy and new politics for Britain.
