Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, who is on a visit to Iran, met with the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Modern.az reports with reference to IRIB that the development of Iran-Azerbaijan relations was discussed at the meeting.
"The development of land, air and rail routes creates a basis for strengthening Tehran-Baku relations," the report said.
The strengthening of transport and corridor routes and the use of existing opportunities were emphasized.
It should be noted that yesterday, within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by Sh. Mustafayev to Iran, a meeting of the co-chairs of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries was held.
