The most tax-paying MARKETS in Azerbaijan | Modern.az

Among the top 100 companies paying the most taxes to the state budget in Azerbaijan for 2025, several large supermarket chains are also included.

Modern.az reports that this information is based on the list published by the State Tax Service. The list includes only taxpayers who have consented to the disclosure of their information, as well as companies with the highest calculations, excluding indirect taxes (VAT and excises).

According to the information, “Araz Supermarket” LLC was the highest taxpayer among the supermarkets. The company paid 46,4 million manats in taxes last year, which is 9,7 million manats or 26,4% more compared to 2024.

Regarding other large retail chains, “Oba Market” LLC paid 25,9 million manats (an annual increase of 2,4 million manats or 10,2%), “Azərbaycan Supermarket” LLC (Bravo) paid 21,2 million manats (an increase of 0,4 million manats or 1,9%), “Al Market” LLC paid 20 million manats (a decrease of 3,2 million manats or 13,8%), and “Bazarstore” LLC paid 17,8 million manats (an increase of 3,7 million manats or 26,2%) in taxes.

Thus, the taxes paid by large supermarket chains also held a significant share in budget revenues last year. The list of supermarkets that paid the most taxes last year is presented in the table below.
