A 5.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in the US state of Alaska.

Modern.az reports that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre issued a statement about this.

The epicenter of the tremors was located 535 km east of the city of Anchorage. The earthquake's focus was at a depth of 9 km.

There is no information regarding casualties and destruction.
