US President Donald Trump said that Iran has appealed to Washington for the urgent opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that Trump shared this on his Truth Social account.
According to him, Iran is currently in a difficult situation: “Iran just informed us that they are in a collapsed state. They want us to open the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible, while they try to sort out the situation with their leadership (I believe they will succeed).”
It should be noted that the Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the main transport routes of strategic importance for global energy transportation.
