Ukraine has submitted a note of protest to the Israeli ambassador regarding claims of "stolen grain."
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine issued a statement on this matter.
It was stated that the ministry invited Israel's ambassador to Ukraine, Mikhail Brodsky, to the institution and presented him with an official note. The protest concerns allegations of systematic import of agricultural products illegally removed by Russia from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into Israel.
The Ukrainian side noted that the origin of the grain has been precisely determined, and there is information about schemes to conceal these products, including "ship-to-ship" loading methods in the Black Sea.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tikhiy stated that the Israeli side's disregard for Ukraine's official appeals and requests for international legal assistance, including calls for the detention of ships and cargo, effectively "creates conditions for the legalization of stolen Ukrainian grain."
It should be noted that this issue has recently been one of the topics discussed at the international level.
