“Gabala” player Turan Manafov has been removed from the main squad of “Gabala”.
Modern.az reports that the reason for this was his physical altercation with head coach Kakhaber Skhadadze.
During one of the training sessions, the Georgian coach gave instructions to the player. T. Manafov, however, was unable to follow these instructions. As a result, Skhadadze insulted him. This led to a physical altercation between the parties. Later, other players calmed the situation.
It should be noted that Turan Manafov is under contract with “Stellenbosch”. The 27-year-old defender signed a 3-year contract with the South African club last summer.
This agreement is valid until June 2028. The former member of our U-21 national team's loan deal with “Gabala” is set to expire in June.
Turan, who accepted the “red-blacks” offer for a salary of 8000 dollars, last played on March 21. On that day, he entered the field in the 67th minute of the away match against “Turan Tovuz” in the 25th round of the Premier League, replacing Nugay Rashidov.
