7 Bangladeshi citizens have been arrested for attempting to illegally cross the Armenia-Iran border.
Modern.az reports, citing the Investigative Committee of Armenia, that a criminal case has been initiated against the detained individuals under Article 44-469, Part 3, Paragraph 2 (attempted illegal border crossing) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
The Investigative Committee has not clarified whether other individuals were involved in this case. The reasons for the foreigners' attempt to cross the border have not been disclosed.
