A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has been recorded on Japan's Hokkaido island.
Modern.az reports that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has released information about this.
The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 83 kilometers. The tremors occurred 30 kilometers south of Obihiro, a city with a population of 173,000.
No statements have been made regarding casualties or damage.
