US President Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the North Atlantic Alliance, stating that he was very disappointed with the organization.
Modern.az reports that he spoke about this in an interview with “Fox News” TV channel.
According to Trump, although the US allocated large financial resources to NATO, the alliance did not support Washington during the operation in the Middle East.
“I have to say about NATO that I am very disappointed because they were not with us. We have spent trillions of dollars, but when we needed a little help, we did not see that support,” the US leader said.
He added that he raised this issue to check how NATO would behave in such a situation.
