Two women died as a result of a truck overturning on a minibus stop in Manavgat district of Antalya province, Turkey.
Modern.az reports with reference to Turkish media that the incident took place on the Manavgat-Alanya road. After hitting a car stopped at a traffic light, the truck overturned onto the bus stop on the side of the road.
During the incident, 23-year-old Azerbaijani citizen Alyona Dovgalyova and 20-year-old Russian citizen Arina Dautova, who were at the bus stop, were trapped under the truck's trailer. After rescue efforts, it was determined that both women had lost their lives.
Driver Huseyin C., who sustained minor injuries during the accident, was detained. An investigation into the incident is underway.
