The IV Global Media Forum, which started in Shusha on July 13, continues its work with panel sessions. About 160 media representatives, experts and officials from 53 countries of the world are represented at the forum dedicated to the topic "The mission of media in promoting peace: Restoring truth and rebuilding trust".
The head of Pakistan TV, Adil Shahzeb, one of the forum participants, told Modern.az that it was a great honor for him to have a direct dialogue with President Ilham Aliyev.
According to him, President Ilham Aliyev's readiness to answer questions openly, comprehensively and in detail is an indicator of self-confidence and transparency:
"The whole world recognizes the important role Pakistan plays in reducing tensions between the US and Iran. President Ilham Aliyev's expression of confidence that Pakistan can contribute to ensuring peace again against the background of recent regional tensions is a clear indicator of Pakistan's commitment to peace, diplomacy and global stability."
Adil Shahzeb stated that the forum was organized at an extremely professional level and brought together media representatives from various countries of the world:
"President Ilham Aliyev's long question-and-answer session demonstrated his readiness for open dialogue and his great importance to the discussion of issues of regional and global importance. I believe that this format of direct communication makes an important contribution to strengthening transparency, promoting informed discussions and developing constructive cooperation with international media."
The Pakistani media head also highly appreciated Azerbaijan's rapid development and its commitment to historical heritage:
"Azerbaijan is a country that has both undergone rapid development and remained faithful to its historical and rich cultural heritage. I always feel at home here thanks to the sincerity and hospitality of the people. In addition, the contribution of initiatives such as the Shusha Global Media Forum to the development of international dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation through responsible journalism is one of the most important results of this visit for me."
