Amidst the war with Iran, the average price of gasoline in the US has risen to $4.39 per gallon (3.79 liters).

Modern.az reports that "NBC News" released this information. This was the largest daily increase since the ceasefire announcement on April 7.

Since the start of the war, the average price of unleaded gasoline in the US has increased by more than 47%, while oil has risen by approximately 80% this year.

President Donald Trump's intention to continue the blockade against Iranian ports is cited as the reason for the price increase.

At the same time, analysts warn that if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed until the end of June, the price of Brent crude oil could rise to $150 per barrel.
