Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi has been hospitalized.

Modern.az reports that the Narges Mohammadi Foundation announced this.

She was hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration in her health while serving her prison sentence in Zanjan.

It should be recalled that Mohammadi, a human rights defender, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on charges of "spreading propaganda."
