Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of "Russian Today" (RT) TV channel, reacted harshly to the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Armenia.
Modern.az reports that Simonyan criticized the Armenian authorities in a statement she shared on social media.
“This is an ungrateful step by Armenia, which we have saved many times. It is time to think about protecting Russia's population and interests in this country. If Vladimir Putin does not make a decision himself, his successor will have to take steps in this direction in the future,” she said.
It should be noted that Volodymyr Zelensky visited Yerevan to participate in the VIII Summit of the European Political Community. Within the framework of the summit, the Ukrainian leader held meetings with a number of European officials.
