French President Emmanuel Macron called Armenia a former Russian outpost at the plenary session of the European Political Community in Yerevan.
Modern.az reports that, according to Macron, no European leaders would have come to Armenia 8 years ago.
“Eight years ago, this country was de facto considered a satellite of Russia by many states. Nikol Pashinyan organized a “velvet revolution” and decided to reduce the risks for the country,” he noted.
According to Macron, as a result, Armenia gained certain advantages.
