Two children were killed and four people were injured as a result of a shootout between security forces and militants in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
Modern.az reports that "Dawn" newspaper published information about this, citing official sources.
"The clash in Vara-Mamund area took place on Thursday evening, when the Security Forces were conducting an operation to search for suspected militants in this area. Residents of Malakana-Dama-Dola area came under fire," the report says.
It is noted that the injured were taken to the district hospital in Khardak for medical assistance. The medical institution stated that the condition of the victims is satisfactory.
