An oil tanker has been hit near the coast of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has released information about this.
It was stated that the blow hit the engine room of the tanker, as a result of which the ship lost control. The incident was recorded approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Oman's Lima port.
According to the information, no one was injured as a result of the incident. Coast guard forces in the region have been informed, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
