Famous Soviet and Russian television presenter Vladimir Molchanov died at the age of 75.

Molchanov worked at the Novosti Press Agency (APN). He was engaged in journalistic investigations of Nazi crimes. In addition, he worked as a commentator for the international department in the editorial office of the "Zaman" program.
In March 1987, Vladimir Molchanov was the host of "Before and After Midnight", one of the most popular programs of the perestroika era.
During his four years working in television, Molchanov hosted "Before and After Midnight", as well as the programs "Zaman" and "90 (later 120) Minutes".
He was awarded the Order of Honor and was also a laureate of the "Golden Pen" award of the Union of Journalists of Russia.
