Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been dismissed from his post.

Modern.az reports that "Cumhuriyet" website published information about this. Saral stated in his statement regarding the issue:

"Our esteemed President appointed me to the position, and I left at his instruction. I have no resentment towards anyone."

Journalist Talat Atilla stated that he spoke with Oktay Saral on the phone and shared the details of the conversation.

"I called Mr. Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey.

I asked him, 'Have you been dismissed from your post?'

'Yes. We are not people who exist with a position. Our esteemed President appointed me to this position, and I left at his instruction. I have no resentment towards anyone,' he replied.

'Is this because of your statements about Azerbaijan?' I asked.

'Yes, it seems so,' he replied.

Then he said these words:

'The main thing is the Republic of Turkey. The main thing is the success of our esteemed President.'"

It should be noted that a few days ago, a decision was signed in Azerbaijan regarding not allowing the use of other clothing elements that violate the uniformity of the dress code adopted in secondary schools, as well as those that are not in accordance with the principle of secularism in general education.

After this, Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, wrote a statement on social media on October 13:

"Restricting the right to education of veiled students in Azerbaijan is unacceptable! Such an approach should never be allowed in this period!"

After all this, it was reported that Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey, was dismissed from his post.
