Russia has announced its readiness to resume trilateral talks with the United States and Ukraine to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov.
According to him, Moscow is ready to return to the negotiating table after November 4. However, the Kremlin official said that it would not be right to expect serious results from the initial meeting.
Ushakov noted that the first meeting will primarily serve to determine the positions of the parties, and additional diplomatic efforts are needed to reach a final peace agreement.
He emphasized the importance of discussing the issue of ensuring peace in Ukraine with European states as well.
According to information, Abu Dhabi and Switzerland are also being considered among the possible venues for the next meeting.
