Currently, 41 people in the US are under observation for hantavirus.
According to Modern.az, this information is stated in the data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is reported that most of them should stay at home during the 42-day monitoring period and avoid contact with people.
These 41 people are from three main groups.
“Firstly, passengers recently repatriated and currently in Nebraska and Emory states. Secondly, passengers who have already disembarked and returned home before the epidemic was identified. Thirdly, people who may have been infected during travel, especially on flights where a symptomatic case was present,” it is noted.
