Serdar Kılıç, Turkey's special representative for the normalization of relations with Armenia, commented on the issue of opening borders.
Modern.az reports that Serdar Kılıç, in response to a question from "Sputnik Armenia", stated that concrete discussions on the opening of the Armenia-Turkey border have not yet been held.
S. Kılıç emphasized that the border will only be opened after certain formal stages are completed, communication issues are resolved, and other technical-bureaucratic procedures are finalized.
The diplomat added that Turkey demonstrated its political will in this direction back in 2022, but it is not possible to say exactly when the border will open. He also stated that it is currently difficult to give a specific time forecast regarding this.
