A group of employees of "Qərb F2-05" LLC, operating in Azerbaijan, have complained about violations of labor rights, non-payment of salaries, and inhumane working conditions. The matter has already moved to the judicial plane.
Modern.az reports that, according to the complainant Ramil Amirov, the company's executive director Namiq Gasimov promised employees a monthly salary of 1,800 manats, but in reality, he left them in a difficult situation both financially and morally:
"A part of the salary was promised as a 'package'."
The complainant states that during employment, it was said that only 626 manats of the salary would be official (via card), and the remaining part would be paid in cash:
"We started working under contract on August 5. They took us to the mountains of Aghdara for metal collection. We worked from 9 AM until late at night, hungry and thirsty. When we asked for our salaries, they threatened us: 'Whoever complains will not be paid,' they said, and they 'blocked' all of us."
According to information provided by the State Labor Inspectorate Service regarding the matter, citizen Ramil Amirov's appeal was investigated by the Absheron-Khizi regional department. As a result of the investigations, it was revealed that documents related to the violation of employees' labor rights were not submitted on time. Measures in accordance with the legislation have been taken against the responsible persons, and it has been decided to send the matter to court.
The agency reiterated that, according to legislation, employees' salaries must be paid on time and in full. Violation of these requirements creates serious administrative and legal responsibility for the employer.
