Employees of the Main Department for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue operations to prevent illegal drug trafficking. During the measures carried out in the capital, Javid Zamanov, Ehtiram Abdullayev and Ilkin Bakhshiyev were detained.
Modern.az reports that 71 kg of opium, marijuana with harmful substances added to its composition, and 13,000 methadone pills were found on them. It was determined that the detained persons were drug couriers on the instructions of foreign drug dealers.
Criminal cases have been initiated in connection with the fact, and a measure of restraint in the form of arrest has been chosen against the detained persons by the decision of the court. The fight against illegal drug trafficking continues by police officers.
