On May 5, Azerbaijani experts - Farhad Mammadov, Rusif Huseynov and Zaur Shiriyev - went to the Armenian capital to participate in the international conference "Yerevan Dialogue 2026".
The delegation, which flew from Baku to Istanbul and then by plane to Yerevan, then met with their Armenian counterparts at a round table within the framework of the "Peace Bridge" Initiative. Meeting participant, Director of Topchubashov Center Rusif Huseynov spoke to Modern.az about the meeting.
In his statement to our website, R. Huseynov stated that about 25 Armenian experts participated in the meeting within the framework of the "Peace Bridge" Initiative on May 6:
"During the discussions, which lasted approximately 4 hours, the peace process between the two countries, the next goals, challenges, especially the projects that the "Peace Bridge" Initiative can implement in the environment that will arise after the parliamentary elections in Armenia, were discussed. In addition, Armenian experts raised a number of topics that interested them and the Armenian society. The members of the Azerbaijani delegation, in turn, conveyed our country's position to the other side."
